The Lean Engineering Research Group focus on developing strong technological partnerships with manufacturing and service industries. We aim to provide our partners with high quality research deliverables and educational programmes that have beneficial impacts for them at both strategic and operational levels. Within the centre, "practicing what we preach" means that team working and continuous improvement are essential working cultures that ensure our educational, commercial and research activities remain relevant to the needs of modern competitive businesses.
